Cordless collated screwdrivers for drywall and board

A cordless collated screwdriver feeds screws automatically from a strip, so you fix plasterboard, subfloors or facade panels at high speed without picking up a loose screw each time. For drywall fitters, dry-lining crews and roofers, that means far less bending and a consistent screw depth across the whole surface. The machines usually run on 18V batteries and combine a depth stop with an adjustable feed, so the head sinks just deep enough every time without breaking the top layer.

When choosing, look at the screw length the tool handles, the strip capacity and whether the magazine detaches for driving in hard-to-reach spots. A brushless motor extends the runtime per charge and needs less maintenance. Brands such as Makita, Festool and HiKOKI supply models that fit their own battery platform and system cases, so the tool slots straight into the kit you already use.

Pick a cordless collated screwdriver to suit the screw length and working pace of your regular jobs and the battery platform you already run.
